Help choose the next book in the Re-read Saturday feature.  I have been chewing through a book a chapter or two at a time for several years.  All of these books are full of ideas and concepts so even if you have read them once, a second time around will be valuable.  In almost every circumstance I have asked the readers of the blog and listeners of the podcast to help pick the next book.  The last time I asked for thoughts the outpouring was so large that I took the top three.  It is time to ask again.  The books I am suggesting are:

Project to Product Dr. Mik Kerston

Monotasking Staffan Noteberg

Dynamic Reteaming, Second Edition, Hiedi Helfand

Agile Conversations Douglas Squirrel and Jeffrey Fredrick

My rationale for the four  – I recently re-read Project to Product for a book club and it amazed me for a second time. The ideas in the forward and preface are some of the most intellectually powerful I have read in ages, and that is before we even get to flow metrics.to  Monotasking, Staffan Noteberg’s new book is due out in June just about the time we will be done with Fixing Your Scrum.  I read an early edition in preparation for a podcast interview due up in June. This is the second time Mr. Noteberg has rocked my world. I read the first edition of Dynamic Reteaming on the recommendation of Kevin Goff. The book changed how I viewed teams and how I advise organizations of team change — this is a big deal.  Finally, Agile Conversations has provided several sleepless nights as I pondered how I influence and guide organizations as they grow and change.  All four deserve a re-read but it is up to you to choose.  Vote for your favorite (come back and vote again tomorrow if you have more than one favorite). PS – if you don’t have a copy of these books, you should. Please use the links to support the blog and podcast.
